Street Law Clinic (6452)

In this clinic, students will teach a semester-long elective course in various law-related topics to high school students, community partners, and others. Students will meet weekly in a seminar setting to discuss topics for the course as well as to develop teaching skills. Students will then teach on-site once a week. The clinic curriculum will be developed in coordination with the interest and needs of the on-site partnership, to include a focus on professional responsibility, professional development, understanding the law, the legal process, the United States system of government, and effective citizenship. Students must apply to register for the course.
